BSD City, Indonesia — 22 May 2026 — DGX Science successfully hosted DGX Technology Day at Rooftop Lounge, Hotel Santika ICE BSD City, bringing together industry professionals, technology leaders, and members of Indonesia’s geoscience community for a collaborative discussion on the future of subsurface technology, AI-driven workflows, and data governance in the upstream sector.

The event marked an important milestone through the strategic collaboration between DGX Science, Eliis, and AFED Digital to strengthen the Indonesian market with advanced subsurface imaging technologies, AI-powered interpretation capabilities, and modern digital infrastructure solutions tailored for the energy industry.

As Indonesia’s upstream sector continues to navigate increasingly complex operational and data challenges, the collaboration aims to help organizations accelerate decision-making, improve subsurface understanding, and build more scalable and efficient digital ecosystems.

Throughout the session, participants explored topics including AI-driven subsurface imaging, AI-driven data governance, and the growing role of digital transformation in enhancing operational excellence across the energy value chain.

A key highlight of the event was the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between DGX and two prominent Indonesian professional associations:

  • Ikatan Ahli Geologi Indonesia (IAGI)
  • Himpunan Ahli Geofisika Indonesia (HAGI)

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting the development of Indonesia’s geoscience and geophysics communities through technology collaboration, knowledge sharing, capability development, and future digital initiatives.

Through this collaboration, DGX and its partners aim to contribute to the advancement of Indonesia’s upstream industry by enabling broader access to innovative technologies and supporting the evolving needs of professionals and organizations across the sector.

Representatives from DGX emphasized that collaboration remains essential in today’s rapidly evolving energy landscape.

“Technology alone is not enough. Real transformation happens when industry players, technology providers, and professional communities work together with a shared vision. This collaboration is an important step toward democratizing innovation and accelerating upstream excellence in Indonesia.”

The event also served as a platform for networking and open discussions among industry stakeholders, reinforcing the importance of partnerships in shaping a more connected, data-driven, and innovation-focused future for Indonesia’s energy ecosystem.

With the momentum generated through DGX Technology Day, the collaboration between DGX, Eliis, AFED Digital, HAGI, and IAGI is expected to open new opportunities for innovation, technical development, and long-term industry growth in Indonesia.
